God is in Control: Synchrosies
April 28, 2008
There is something truly amazing about everything around us, and that is it’s all connected. Everything that happens to you at any point in time is connected with everything else, everywhere in the universe, in every universe, in every timestream, throughout all time! And somehow it all works together and makes sense! When you think of this it will truly blow you away. We are talking about infinity. How do I know this you may ask? I have simply opened my eyes and ears to everything going on around me, and somehow it all speaks to me, about who I am and what I am suppose to do. The clues are all around you if you start to truly see and truly listen.
I noticed some time ago that certain numbers would follow me around. Everytime I looked at the clock I would see for example 31 in some fasion. Then I looked back through my life and sure enough I used to live at a number 31 address and also a variation 103. Somehow everytime I decide to look at a clock I see something like 131 or 313. The number 11 also follows me everywhere around. The probability of this happening as coincidence is amazing. But it’s not just these numbers, it’s everything. Sometimes I’ll say something, even a joke, and I realize it has revealed to me something about myself. The more you open your eyes and ears, the more you start to see and the more you are amazed. The math for this to happen to everyone everywhere is just mind boggling and tells us something very big is truly in control of everything, everywhere.
We have to be careful and not force meaning in everything we see, nor expect to find meaning when we sneeze for example. We also need to be rational and of sound mind when interpreting the reality around us. But when we are of sound mind and truly listen there are all kinds of messages for us.
One day when my wife and I were talking about what is wrong with the world I threw a ball and it accidentally knocked the clock off the wall. And my wife sarcastically said “oh are you saying time is the problem?” And then when she threw the ball shortly later it also accidentally hit the clock and knocked it back off the wall, right after I put it back up. That moment seemed to hint that perhaps one day soon time would be removed and this would solve all problems. This also plays on other synchrosies where people all over the web and also myself always see 11:11 on clocks. It seems that this is a phenomenon happening to a lot of people. The double 11’s represent a coming together and the end of dualism. It signifies a return to everything being good. Many believe that soon it will be the end of time, but it won’t be the end.
So keep your eyes and ears open and remember that everthing that happens has meaning and a purpose. Things may seem difficult and bad things often happen, but somehow someway everything is all working together for a higher purpose we could never understand. After the most difficult of lives, and many, many tears, I still truly believe that G-d is in control!

A wonderful post! :-)

I truely believe that God is in control, in every aspect of each and everyone of our lives. You are right that everything happens for a reason.
I started having panic attacks a couple months back where i literally was in such a panic state that i truely thought that i had died and went to hell for eternity. My mind was playing tricks on me but really i think it was God telling me to get my life together or when i really did die, hell would be even far worse than what i was illusioning… Eventually i asked Jesus into my life and my panic attacks are gone for the most part…and now i am working for a chaplain in the Navy as an RP and trying my hardest to spread the word of God…
So yes i do believe God is in control of everything, he helped me to change my life around when i thought that no one could help me.
So coincidence is proof that there is a god? What about genocide and all of the people religion has killed? Does that also prove the existence of god?
Hi biochemist,
Coincidence is no proof of God. But when things happen over and over again you start to see how we are all part of a greater plan. If you won the lottery you would think you were lucky. But if you won it 20 times in a row you would start to wonder what was going on.
Evil does exist and should only drive us towards what is good and right. God is simply the highest representation of that good.
As far as blaming religion, if someone went out tomorrow and killed somebody in your name, would it be your fault? And if they did this because they misunderstood something you said? You wouldn’t be to blame. There are a lot of soup kitchens and charities out there also in the name of religion helping many people. I tend to think these people are the ones properly applying scripture.
if i im suffing from something that i can t help is my fault
back in oct i was very sick but in spike of how sick i was i when out to work on my my job would sweat so bad probaly til i would sweat througt my dorant so i pro had odor i became a laughing stock of nine to five ifind it hard to lift my head again how do i get beyoung this help in chin grove
Hi Cathy,
No, this is not your fault. How you handle the situation and the choices you make are your responsibility though. If somebody accidentally hurts us, it is not our fault, but how we respond to it is our responsibility.
There are:
Things we do wrong that hurt us
Things others do wrong that hurt us
Things that hurt us that are nobodys fault
All we can do is make the best choices within our circumstances. This is what we are accountable for.
Hi Cathy,
There are many mean people in this world and they will often mock you and put you down. But noone who does this will get away with it. They will have to one day answer to God for laughing at you.
Don’t be embarassed for yourself, be embarassed for them and the fact that they act like children. I do not believe there is any place in God’s kingdom for people like this, unless they change their hearts. I think mockery is one of the worst sins.
There is nothing wrong with you and you sound like a humble person. Remember that they mocked Jesus and just about all God’s prophets. Sometimes the best people in God’s eyes are the least in the eyes of the world. But what the world thinks means nothing in the end. There are no angels in heaven laughing at you.
Let me get this straight.
1) Everything is connected (other than through gravity, I assume) because you think it is.
2) The maker of the universe is interested in your life. He shows this interest with the digits 3 and 1, and by causing a ball to twice knock a clock off the wall.
3) Everything that happens has meaning and a purpose, and your god is in control — because you want it to be so.
I don’t think that the lottery analogy works for many people. I hardly think that the good things that happen in peoples lives who are Christians can be equated to winning the lottery. We all know that the odds of winning the lottery are far worse than the odds of your everyday “good things” happen that you prayed for. If someone won the “lottery” 20 times in a row, I WOULD think that was impressive, only it has never happened.
Confirmation Bias does, however, happen quite often. I am an ex-christian and I can say that worse things happened to me during my time as a Christian when I used to pray, than now than I don’t. The difference is that I would only notice the times that I wanted something, prayed for it, and got it because it fit in with my presupposition that God was in control. And the myriad times the I didn’t “have my prayer answered” I would discount it as “God’s plan”. Sound familiar? It’s that easy. Now I don’t think this way, nor do I waste my time praying for something. If I want something, I simply go out and get it. It feels much better knowing that I am in control, not some being that I can’t see or hear or touch, but that happens to have my whole life planned out (even though I still have free will and can make my own decisions).
And 11:11? Come on. Now you are just dabbling in plain old mysticism. Record all the times that you looked at the clock in one day, week, month. Write down all the times you get. How many 2:13’s or 5:38’s did you get? But those numbers don’t have a significant pattern for you, so they are forgotten. And eveyone has an internal clock and knows by the daylight, tiredness of the body, and daily routine, roughly what time it is. You can’t possibly be looking at the clock at around 11 subconsiously to get that affect right?
Also, while perhaps to you, it is fallacious to claim that bad things happen in the name of religion, therefore we should let go of such beliefs, to the atheist, irradicating such beliefs will alleviate the option of killing in the name of a God. While it is not the common believer’s or the religion’s “fault” that killings occur in God’s name, they definitely help to perpetuate the belief system in those that have these tendencies. If no one believed these people might just dissappear into obscurity. And before you suggest it, yes, many are simply killers and would find another reason, but many are also just family people (many muslims) who honestly believe that they will get “treasures” and give glory to Allah for strapping a bomb to themselves. That’s what indoctrination does. Take away the Islam, and you have a hard working family man who cares for others. Think of what the world would be like now without Islam?
